| Le Festival International Jean Rouch 2009, 28ème Bilan du Film Ethnographique, évènement international majeur du film documentaire à caractère anthropologique aura lieu du 14 au 22 mars 2009, à Paris. |
| Cette année, nous avons le plaisir de donner Carte Blanche au festival néerlandais Beeld voor Beld d'Amsterdam pour une rétrospective hors compétition de deux jours en ouverture de notre festival. |
| Le Festival International Jean Rouch s'adresse à tout public et met en compétition des films d'anthropologues, de professionnels du cinéma, d'étudiants en sciences humaines aussi bien qu'en écoles de cinéma et d'audiovisuel. |
| Les thèmes abordés sont aussi variés que les manifestations culturelles et sociales de l'Homme quel que soit le lieu de tournage, du proche ou du lointain. |
| Néanmoins, lors de la sélection, une attention particulière est accordée aux films qui témoignent d'une relation privilégiée du réalisateur avec ses protagonistes. |

| Peuvent participer les films documentaires, sans contraintes de durée ou de format, terminés en 2007, 2008 ou 2009. |

| The Jean Rouch International Film Festival 2009, 28th Bilan du Film Ethnographique, major international event in anthropological documentary film, will take place in Paris from 14th to 22th of March 2009. |
| This year, we are glad to invite the festival Beeld voor Beeld from Amsterdam for a special two days screening (non in competition) to open our festival. |
| The Jean Rouch International Film Festival adresses to a wide audience and open up his selection to anthropologists as well as to professional filmmakers, to students in social sciences as well as to students in Cinema schools. |
| Topics are as much varied as are human cultural and social manifestations; from the far to the close, from any places of shooting. |
| Nevertheless, our selection will pay more attention to films that show a privileged relationship between the filmmaker and his protagonists. |
|
| Are elligible to participate documentary films of any duration, any format, completed in 2007, 2008 and 2009. |
